E-invoicing means increased safety, reduced costs, decreased CO2 emissions and traceability for Luftfartsverket’s invoicing processes
SUMMARY
During 2007 LFV and Pagero initiated a supplier enrollment project to increase the volume of inbound e-invoices. The goal is that over 70% of the 100.000 inbound invoices are sent electronically to LFV before the end of 2011. Using e-invoices are in line with the vision of LFV’s environmental engagement to become a100% climate neutral organization.
The implementation of e-invoices within the LFV organization has been very successful. LFV see the benefits of reduced paper invoices as the process of transportation, opening envelopes/scanning, archiving are too expensive. An e-invoice also offers higher safety and is easier to track in the system.
