Grensemat consists of three large grocery stores in the Sweden/Norway border region. Kennet Stolfer, Finance Manager at Grensemat, has had an interest in e-invoicing for 15 years, but it was not until in 2012, when he came into contact with Pagero, that the pieces started to fall into place.

From scanning to electronic invoices

“It took a long time before there were any price worthy systems that could be used in our type of business. It all began in 2009 when we decided to let an external scanning service provider handle all our inbound invoices. At the same time, I was very interested in invoices that were entirely electronic from beginning to end, but I had to let go of that idea because I could not come up with any good solutions for how to get the flow going. When I came into contact with Pagero in 2012, all the pieces fell into place. Pagero could offer me a good solution that is based on fully electronic invoices.”

“We process about 55 000 inbound invoices per year. It is a large number of invoices that we now handle with the help of Pagero, and more and more of our invoices are becoming completely electronic. The whole invoice flow is managed via Pagero

In the autumn of 2015, Grensemat decided to stop engaging the services of their previous scanning service provider and let Pagero handle this as well. “I am convinced that handing over the entire invoice management to Pagero is the right decision to make. We are planning to move our entire customer invoice flow to e-invoicing soon. When we do, we will process all our invoices via Pagero and that feels great”, says Kennet Stofler
