E-fapiao pilot progressively expands to further regions
The Chinese government expanded the e-fapiao pilot to an additional seven regions. Following the latest ones joining the pilot, the deployment of fully digitalized invoices is almost done.
E-fapiao pilot continues to advance in new regions
Additional regions have taken part in the e-fapiao pilot. More taxpayers can issue fully digitalized invoices to their trading parties.
An additional province joined the fully digitalized e-invoice pilot
From 28 October, selected taxpayers in Sichuan province can start issuing fully digitized e-fapiao. The scope of receiving e-fapiao has expanded nationwide.
China launches a new e-invoicing pilot program in Shanghai, Guangdong, and Inner Mongolia
Shanghai, Guangdong, and Inner Mongolia have introduced a new type of invoice, which is fully digitized, and selected taxpayers have started issuing e-invoices via the National e-invoicing platform since 1 December 2021.
Full-scale introduction of e-invoicing in China
New information on the introduction of e-invoicing in China and their “special VAT e-invoices” has been released.
Fapiao system explained as China introduces B2B e-invoicing
Chinese authorities are piloting an e-invoicing system for the country’s Special VAT Fapiao invoice. The plan will roll out on a voluntary basis, during which businesses in certain provinces can begin to send e-invoices through China’s Golden Tax System.
