Eswatini E-Invoicing Initiative

Eswatini's Public Procurement Regulatory Agency (ESPPRA) issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for fiscalization technology to enhance tax compliance. The RFP seeks solutions that include e-invoicing for automated generation, transmission, validation, and real-time reporting with the Eswatini Revenue Service (ERS).

On March 27, 2025, Eswatini's Public Procurement Regulatory Agency (ESPPRA) issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the provision of fiscalization technology for the Eswatini Revenue Service, with a submission deadline of May 16, 2025.

The RFP seeks to procure a technical solution for improved tax compliance, featuring several key elements designed to enhance the efficiency and reliability of fiscal processes within the country, including:

An electronic invoicing solution to automate the generation, transmission, and validation of invoices, along with real-time reporting between businesses and the Eswatini Revenue Service (ERS).

Fiscal devices for point-of-sale (POS) transactions that generate and store receipts and integrate with ERS systems.

Digital platforms, API integration, and mobile applications, along with automated compliance tools, to facilitate the calculation, reporting, and payment of Value Added Tax (VAT).
