Tunisia proposes mandatory e-invoicing for service transactions

With the publication of the draft 2026 Finance Law, Tunisia continues its e-invoicing roll-out. The draft proposes extending mandatory compliance with the e‑invoicing system to now cover service transactions. If approved, the changes would take effect on January 1, 2026.

Tunisia continues its gradual roll-out of the e-invoicing mandate by extending it to high-volume business-to-business sectors and making e-invoicing mandatory for all transactions involving Tunisian governmental entities. Additionally, penalties have been introduced to ensure compliance for taxpayers in scope.
